Mrs. Buddhipriya Wirajee Dedduwa Pathirana joined the University of Ruhuna in 2001 as a Library Information Assistant ( Grade III ) attached to the Main Library. She worked as the Library Information Assistant at the Engineering Faculty library from 2001 to 2006 and performed all relevant duties during this period. She was transferred to the Main Library in 2006 and then she has been working in different sections. Currently, she is working in the Periodicals Division as a Senior Staff Assistant ( Library Services ). She obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Arts from University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka in 2003 and completed her Master of Arts Degree in Library and Information Science from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2009.
