The Library, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna was founded in 2000. It is one of the prime branch libraries of the University of Ruhuna. The Library which is located at Hapugala in the Galle district.

The library caters to the undergraduates, post-graduates, academics and non-academic staff of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. It is also act as a focal library to the engineering scientist and the researchers of the down south of Sri Lanka.
