Ms. Prasadi Kanchana Jayasekara is a Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II) at the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. Her academic and professional work spans Library and Information Science and Information Systems, with particular interests in digital communities, social media, information behaviour, and information and AI literacy.
She is currently completing her PhD in Information Systems at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where her doctoral research focuses on community-driven information systems and social media platforms. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science with Distinction and has experience in academic librarianship, research, and university teaching.
