We are delighted to announce that the University of Ruhuna Library has receive a book donation from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. This project was facilitated by SLIM Business School Matara.
A total of 314 books covering various marketing topics were donated during the ceremony held on November 20, 2023, at the Senate Room of the University of Ruhuna.
The successful execution of this project was made possible through the guidance of Vice President Education of SLIM, Prof. Jayantha N. Dewasiri, and CEO/Executive Director of SLIM, Mr. Sanath Senanayake. Special acknowledgment is extended to the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance, Prof. Manjula K. Wanniarachchige, and the Head of the Marketing Department, Prof. A. C. Karunarathna, for their invaluable support.
This book donation effort reflects SLIM’s commitment to disseminating marketing knowledge across the nation and its dedication to contributing to the academic and professional development of the business community in the southern province.
