The staff of the Akuressa Public Library, accompanied by its Community Development Officer, visited the University of Ruhuna Library to explore advancements in library technology and automation.
The primary objective of the visit was to study how modern technology enhances library operations, improving accessibility and efficiency. The delegation was welcomed by Librarian Mr. Nimal Hettiarachchi, Deputy Librarian Mr. Lal Pannila, and Senior Assistant Librarian Ms. Sakunthala Seneviratne, who provided insights and resources on the university library’s digital transformation.
