Mr. M.N.C. Nishantha is currently working as the Senior Staff Assistant (Library Services) at the Library, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. He started his career as a Library Information Assistant (Grade III) in 1995, and initially he joined the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. In 2005, he was promoted to Library Information Assistant (Grade II), and in 2007, he joined the Library, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. Through his career, he passed several milestones, and in 2008 he was promoted to Library Information Assistant (Grade I), in 2013 to Staff Assistant, and in 2018 to Senior Staff Assistant.

• Successfully completed First Examination in Library Studies & Information Science at Sri Lanka Library Association.
• Successfully completed Library Automation Course at Sri Lanka Library Association.
