Mrs. Nadeesha Nisansala Ranasinghe started on her journey at the University of Ruhuna in 2021. Beginning as a Library Information Assistant (Grade III) in the Reader Services Division of the Main Library at the University of Ruhuna, Nadeesha quickly established herself as a diligent professional in the library. Currently she is working in the Legal Deposit Collection Division of the main library.

Before joined the University of Ruhuna, Nadeesha gained valuable experience in the private sector. Notably, she spent four years as a Junior Executive in Finance at Hayleys Group company, perfecting her financial expertise. She also served as an Administrative Assistant at Sri Lanka Telecom, where her organizational skills proved invaluable. Nadeesha's journey extended to the field of insurance, working as an Insurance Analyst at Ceylinco General Insurance Ltd., and she contributed her talents to the Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka.

• Successfully completed Diploma in Computerized Accounting Packages, IDM Nation Campus, 2014.
• Successfully completed Certificate Course in Applied Information Technology (CAIT), Sri Lanka Telecom Training Centre, 2014.
• Successfully completed Certificate Course in Computer Technology, Nearal Gate Technologies.
• Successfully completed IEMS Examinations, The Institute for Examinations in English, Music and Speech, 2000-2005.

• Member of Sri Lanka University Library Information Assistant Officers Association (SLULIAOA ) since 2021.
