Mr. Amil Priyanka joined the Library University of Ruhuna in 2009 as Library Attendant and worked in many divisions of  the main library. Then he was promoted to the position of Library Information Assistant (Grade III) in 2014 due his dedicated service and improvement of professional qualifications. Currently, Mr. Priyanka is working as the Library Information Assistant (Grade II) attaching to the Ceylon Room, Main Library, University of Ruhuna.

• Bachelors of Arts, University of Kelaniya – 2011.
• Successfully completed Diploma in Library and Information Science, University of Kelaniya in 2017.
• Successfully completed Diploma in Labor Education, University of Colombo in 2004.

Participation in Continuous Professional Development Programmes/Workshops

• Participated for a workshop on DSpace Software for Institutional Repositories, organized by National Science Library & Resource Center in 2017.
• Participated for a workshop on Book Binding, organized by Open University Sri Lanka in 2010.
• Participated for a workshop on “How to Deliver Perfect Service”, organized by University Librarians Associations Sri Lanka in 2007.
