Ms. Sandya Gammanpila and Ms. Sakunthala Senevirathna, Senior Assistant Librarians of the University of Ruhuna, participated as resource persons at the workshop titled “Library E-Resources for Research Success” held on 2nd July 2025.
The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences & Technology and was conducted for the final-year undergraduate students of the faculty.
The session aimed to enhance students’ awareness and skills in effectively utilizing electronic resources for academic research. It covered key areas such as identifying and accessing library e-resources, advanced search techniques, and practical demonstrations. A hands-on session was also conducted to provide students with real-time experience in navigating digital research platforms.
