As part of their Orientation program, library visit sessions had been organised for the 46th batch of the Science faculty undergraduates on 29th Wednesday January 2025, 5th Wednesday February 2025, and 7th Friday February 2025. The undergraduate students who visited the Main Library were warmly welcomed by Senior Assistant Librarian Dr. Theja Kuruppu Arachchi, the library coordinator for the Faculty of Science and all the academic and non academic staff of the Main library. Library resources and services were introduced to the new undergraduates with the demonstrations on Online Catalogue use for finding library resources, and library check in and check out system for empowering them to use the library effectively.
