A one-day workshop on ‘database searching and installing VPN’ was held on 31st July 2024 at the main library, University of Ruhuna. The participants were the library information assistants at the University of Ruhuna Library. Dr. Theja Kuruppu Arachchi, a Senior assistant librarian at the Main Library was the resource person. Participants were acquainted with the accessible eJournal databases accessible from the University network and how to search the accessible content. Moreover, the VPN access option was introduced in order to support the library users access the eDatabases from off campus.
