A two-day workshop was held at the Main Library, University of Ruhuna on 21st and 22nd August 2024. The session ‘Quality with checklists’ on 21st August 2024 introduced the checklists and their importance for the efficiency of library functions. That session was for the library information assistants in the University of Ruhuna library, who were then motivated to write checklists for the library functions they were assigned to. On the next day, 22nd August 2024 two sessions were held about quality control in book processing and binding for the library attendants and work aid staff.
