Library training program for SLLA students

A two-week training program was held from 29^th July 2024 to 9^th August 2024 at the main library, University of Ruhuna. The participants were diploma in library and information science students from the Sri Lanka Library Association (SLLA). All the library divisions including Acquisition, Cataloging, Classification, and Reader Services, and their functions were introduced. The resource persons were Mr. Nimal Hettiarachchi (Librarian), Mr. U.A. Lal Pannila (Deputy Librarian), Dr. Theja Kuruppu Arachchi (Senior Assistant Librarian) and Mrs. Sakunthala Senevirathna (Senior Assistant Librarian) of the University of Ruhuna.
