The Allied health sciences Degree programme established in the year 2009. The library of the programme was established under the faculty of Medicine. The expansion of the library started in 2010 with establishment library at Mahamodara premises.

The expansion of the library started in 2010 with establishment library at Mahamodara premises. The further development of the degree programme established a branch of the library at Uluwitike premises for Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory undergraduate of the faculty in the year 2015. Since 2017 Library serve to the faculty of Allied Health Sciences independently and library is located in two locations at Mahamodara and Uluwitike.

The library contains over 5,000 books and periodicals specially focused in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, and General Reading in the two locations for reference and reading. The library network system links with the main library and other faculty libraries.
